The easy to knit Crossover slipper is an easy to wear, pretty ballerina style. You will need 100 grams of chunky weight yarn. (100 grams for 100m) or two strands of a thinner yarn to achieve the same tension  Joe's Toes kits without the yarn are a great little stash busting project! You can .  

Our Crossover slipper design is an ideal knitting kit for a beginner knitter. These knit slippers are simple enough to knit while watching television or chatting your way through knitting group. This easy and straightforward pattern looks really impressive once you've stitched it to the soles. The slippers can be washed as wool and allowed to dry naturally. 

All our adult size slipper designs, including the Crossover slipper, can be made in womens' sizes from 1-14 (for sizes 12 and over just message us via the chat box).

If you choose the felt outsole option they will come with a latex paint applied to give a bit of grip.

We offer additional outsole options for the Crossover kit: strong and supple Italian suede soles; flexible Vibram rubber soles - which are undoubtedly the best for grip and hard wear as well as being waterproof; and finally vinyl soles as an economical alternative whilst still adding a waterproof, wipe-clean finish. 

Joe's Toes slippers are cosy and lightweight. The Crossover slippers pack very easily for visiting friends and family, and are an ideal gift to pop in the post. The knitted pattern is comfortable for all foot shapes and will adapt to suit many feet that would normally need bespoke footwear.
